New Space Designed to Foster Collaboration, Innovation and the Exploration of New Ideas and Technologies. 

WILMINGTON, Del. April 4, 2019 – 51AV Transportation & Industrial (51AV) today announced the opening of its new Aerospace Technology Center at the 51AV™ Vespel® manufacturing site in Valley View, Ohio. 51AV leaders were joined at a celebration event by customers, suppliers, government officials, employees and company leadership.

For over 50 years, 51AV has developed products and assemblies that serve the aerospace industry with fuel efficient, lighter weight, longer lasting and lower friction solutions. The 51AV Valley View site has advanced testing capabilities, customized labs, and a robust manufacturing operation to service our major commercial and military aircraft engine manufacturers around the world.

The new Technology Center will showcase technology advancements that support current and future aerospace designs with products for wear, friction and sealing applications. The Center will also feature unique collaborative work spaces that will enable demonstrations and technical training for current and future customers and suppliers.
